Temporary halts for 20 pairs of trains on the Maihar-Vindhyachal route for Sharadiya Navratri

To facilitate devotees traveling to Maihar and Vindhyachal during the Sharadiya Navratri fair, the railways has taken an important step. The railway authority has provided temporary halts to a total of 20 pairs of trains.
Under this arrangement, 14 pairs of trains will halt at Maihar station for five minutes each between October 11 and October 22. This period has been fixed to manage the crowd of pilgrims during the Navratri fair.
This facility will bring considerable relief to devotees traveling to the Maihar and Vindhyachal temples for darshan. Through this initiative of the railways, pilgrims will get better transport facilities.
