Manu Bhaker chosen as India's flag bearer for Asian Games opening ceremony

Manu Bhaker has been selected as India's flag bearer for the Asian Games opening ceremony, a distinction she previously held at the Commonwealth Games. The honour reflects her achievements in athletics and competitive record.

Bhaker's selection brings to mind her coach Jaspal Rana's well-known attendance policy and focus on discipline. Kabaddi player Pawan Sehrawat will serve alongside her as the second flag bearer, underscoring India's broad representation at the continental sporting event.
