Tajinderpal Singh Toor replaced as Asian Games flag-bearer due to kit delay

Shot putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor has been replaced as flag-bearer for the Indian contingent at the Asian Games opening ceremony. Toor was originally chosen alongside Manu Bhaker to lead the team, but will now miss the gala event due to non-receipt of his official kit.

Kabaddi player Pawan Sehrawat has stepped in to replace Toor as the male flag-bearer. The change comes after logistical delays prevented Toor from receiving his ceremonial uniform in time for the opening ceremony.
