No player better than me: Mbappe stakes claim for Ballon d'Or

Kylian Mbappe has made his case for the Ballon d'Or, stating he believes he can win the prestigious award this year. "I believe I can win it this year. It's one of my goals," Mbappe said, according to news agency Reuters.

Mbappe addressed criticism about not winning a trophy for club or country, emphasizing that the Ballon d'Or is an individual honour. He noted that no Ballon d'Or winner has ever been elected unanimously, suggesting that trophy wins are not always a prerequisite for the award.
