MCD surveys PG buildings after Satya Niketan collapse, marks 3 as unsafe

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has launched a survey of paying guest buildings across the city in the wake of the Satya Niketan collapse. During the inspection drive, three PG structures have been marked as dangerous and unsafe for habitation.
The move follows the recent building disaster at Satya Niketan, which raised serious concerns about the structural integrity and safety standards of residential accommodations, particularly those housing students and working professionals.
The MCD has initiated steps to ensure compliance with building safety norms and prevent similar incidents in the future.
