Mitti Labs partners with Google to scale climate-smart rice farming across India

Mitti Labs has entered into a five-year partnership with Google to expand climate-smart rice farming practices across India. The collaboration seeks to transition over 70,000 farmers to adopt water-saving techniques that will help cut methane emissions from rice cultivation.

The initiative focuses on promoting sustainable agricultural methods that reduce environmental impact while supporting farmer livelihoods. Through the partnership, participating farmers will gain access to resources and guidance to implement climate-conscious farming practices.
