Concerns mount over demolition and notices targeting Muslim structures in Uttar Pradesh

Concerns have grown over recent administrative actions targeting structures linked with the Muslim community in Uttar Pradesh. The issue intensified after authorities demolished a century-old mosque inside the Saharanpur Collectorate complex on September 5. Additionally, authorities in Moradabad recently issued a notice to the management of the Mustafa Mosque, labelling it an "unauthorised construction".
These actions have sparked debate over the application of demolition and building regulations, with questions raised about the selective targeting of religious structures affiliated with the Muslim community.
