MP ATS Produces Two Accused in Terror Module Case; Fourth Suspect Brought from Bihar

The Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad on Tuesday produced Mohammed Faraz and Nayeem Khan before the Special Court of ATS in Bhopal. The court sent Faraz to judicial custody while Nayeem Khan was remanded to police custody for further interrogation.
A fourth suspect, Izhar-ul-Haq (65), arrested from Madhubani in Bihar, was being brought to Bhopal on a three-day transit remand. Officials suspect he has links with Lashkar-e-Taiba and is associated with a banned organisation. His interrogation is expected to provide crucial leads.
Four persons have been arrested so far in coordinated operations across Bhopal, Saharanpur, Alwar and Madhubani. ATS officials are examining possible inter-state links and connections with extremist organisations in what they describe as an alleged inter-state module of radicalised potential attackers.
