MP Government Launches Youth Outreach to Counter Student Protests and Farmer Unrest

Concerned by student agitations in Delhi, Jharkhand, and Patna, and farmer protests within the state, the Madhya Pradesh government has intensified outreach efforts targeting youth and farming communities. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched Yuva-Krishi Samvad, a district-level programme designed to engage both groups and address their concerns.
The administration is organising events in schools and colleges for direct interaction with students as part of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. Yadav has categorised youth into five groups based on Niti Aayog reports: school students, college students, those in organised and unorganised sectors, and those lacking education, employment, or self-employment opportunities. The government aims to provide skill development and resource support to these demographics, particularly rural youth migrating to cities.
