Madhya Pradesh forms judicial panel to probe Sagar spurious liquor deaths

Madhya Pradesh has formed a one-member judicial panel to investigate a spurious liquor tragedy in Sagar district's Banda tehsil. The official death toll stands at 16, though local residents claim the actual number of fatalities may be at least 30.

The inquiry panel has been tasked with examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and identifying those responsible for the distribution of the contaminated liquor.
