Airlines oppose Mumbai airport's plan to cut international flights

Airlines have opposed a proposal by Mumbai International Airport Limited to temporarily reduce one-third of their international flights starting October 26. The carriers have raised concerns about the operational feasibility and costs involved in shifting flights within such a tight timeframe.
Airline executives argue that relocating a significant portion of international operations in just 20 days is not practically possible and would disrupt connectivity. They have also flagged the financial implications of such a sudden reallocation of their flight schedules and resources.
