As Mumbai monsoon winds down, BMC shifts attention to pollution control

Mumbai's monsoon season is nearing its end, prompting the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to redirect its efforts toward addressing pollution concerns in the city. The BMC, which has been managing monsoon-related challenges, is now preparing strategies to tackle air and water quality issues that typically emerge as the rainy season concludes.
The civic body's shift in focus reflects a seasonal transition in urban management priorities. Post-monsoon pollution control involves addressing accumulated debris, water stagnation, and other environmental concerns that develop during the extended rains.
