Murder convicts get bail with unusual rider; Punjab & Haryana HC orders one-month hospital duty

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to two murder convicts with an unusual condition requiring them to perform one month of hospital duty. The court imposed the rider as part of its bail order, linking the convicts' release to completion of this service work.
The convicts were also directed to file an affidavit undertaking not to commit any criminal offence. The court made clear that if either is named in any fresh case, their bail suspension would be liable for cancellation, tightening oversight of their conduct during the bail period.
