Mutual funds boost microcap holdings; 10 stocks surge up to 70% in three months
Mutual funds have consistently increased their holdings in 64 companies listed under the Nifty Microcap 250 index over two straight quarters, signalling sustained institutional interest in the space.
Ten microcap stocks have delivered gains ranging from 25% to 68% over a three-month period. The top performers include Electronics Mart India, Sky Gold, Bluestone Jewellery, Sudarshan Chemical and Timex Group, reflecting strong buying momentum from fund managers.
The consistent increase in MF allocations to microcaps suggests growing confidence in smaller-cap equities amid broader market dynamics.
