NABVENTURES plans ₹30-70 crore investments from Fund II in agri, rural startups

NABVENTURES, the venture capital arm of the National Agricultural Bank for Cooperation, aims to invest between ₹30 crore and ₹70 crore from its second fund into early-stage and growth-stage agricultural and rural companies.
According to a statement, the fund will maintain the option to participate in subsequent follow-on investment rounds alongside its initial capital deployment. This approach allows NABVENTURES to support promising ventures through multiple funding phases as they scale operations.
The initiative reflects growing focus on venture capital deployment in India's agricultural and rural sectors, targeting startups that address challenges in farming, supply chains, and rural livelihoods. Fund II's flexible participation structure enables deeper engagement with portfolio companies over time.
