National Open Athletics Championships to be held in New Delhi after Asian Games

The National Open Athletics Championships will take place in New Delhi following the Asian Games, serving as a season-ending competition for Indian track and field athletes.

Several medallists from the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games are expected to feature in the entry list. However, many leading athletes may choose to skip the event in favour of rest and recovery after the demanding continental competition.

The championships will provide an opportunity for athletes to conclude their competitive season, though participation levels remain uncertain given the physical demands of the Asian Games.
