Navi Mumbai Airport to Boost Staff, Fix Systems to Cut Cargo Delays

Navi Mumbai airport has announced plans to augment its workforce and address technical issues to reduce delays in cargo operations. The move comes after customs brokers flagged concerns on October 1 that the airport lacks sufficient experienced manpower and equipment to handle current cargo volumes.
The airport aims to streamline operations by recruiting additional trained personnel and resolving system glitches that have contributed to cargo backlogs. Addressing these infrastructure and human resource gaps is expected to improve processing efficiency and reduce turnaround times for consignments.
