NCDEX launches NDEX and FINNDEX equity benchmarks

NCDEX has launched two new equity benchmarks, NDEX and FINNDEX, as it looks to expand into equity-linked products.

NDEX tracks 20 large and liquid Indian stocks, while FINNDEX tracks 15 companies from the financial sector.

Both indices use a multi-factor methodology that considers market capitalisation, trading activity, beta and volatility. The constituents are rebalanced semiannually.
