NDA-backed Parimal Nathwani wins Rajya Sabha seat in Jharkhand

Parimal Nathwani, the NDA-backed candidate, won the Rajya Sabha seat in Jharkhand despite the coalition's numerical disadvantage in the state assembly.

Congress candidate Pranav Jha's defeat triggered speculation of cross-voting by some RJD and Left legislators, which enabled Nathwani to secure the seat.
