Neemuch Artist Creates 6mm Silver Ashta Vinayak, Smaller Than Rice Grain

A micro artist from Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh has created an intricate artwork depicting all eight forms of Ashta Vinayak on silver. Rajesh Soni's creation measures just 6 millimetres in length and weighs only 70 milligrams, making it smaller than a single rice grain. The artwork can be placed on Durva grass and is decorated with turmeric, kumkum and rice grains.
The piece represents the eight forms of Lord Ganesha — Mayureshwar, Siddhivinayak, Ballaleshwar, Varadvinayak, Chintamani, Girijatmaj, Vighneshwar and Maha Ganpati. Soni has previously created several micro artworks including the world's smallest gold opium poppy pod, a tiny Taj Mahal and a miniature Cricket World Cup trophy, earning world record recognition for his work.
