NEET And Yoga Day On Same Date; CM Orders Special Traffic Arrangements

Bhopal: With NEET (UG) 2026 and International Yoga Day both scheduled for June 21, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered special traffic management arrangements to ensure candidates reach examination centres without difficulty. The CM directed district administrations to ensure Yoga Day events do not disrupt candidate movement and to arrange government vehicles if needed to assist those facing transportation issues.

Reviewing NEET preparations in a video conference with collectors and police officials, Yadav instructed authorities to complete all arrangements in advance with strict security at 283 centres across 30 districts. Officials have been ordered to install biometric verification systems, CCTV cameras and jammers at all centres by June 19, with trial runs scheduled for June 20. Special attention was given to Jabalpur, where President Droupadi Murmu will visit the same day.
