NHAI bans median cuts, surface intersections on new high-speed national highway corridors

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has introduced new design guidelines for upcoming high-speed national highway corridors. The new rules prohibit median cuts and surface-level intersections on these future expressways, aiming to improve safety and traffic flow.
These measures are part of NHAI's effort to standardise infrastructure on high-speed corridors and reduce accident risks. The regulations will apply to new national highway projects moving forward.
