Half of Nifty 500 stocks down over 30% from peaks amid foreign selling pressure

About 50% of Nifty 500 stocks have declined significantly from their peak levels, according to recent market analysis. A total of 252 stocks in the index have fallen more than 30%, while 102 stocks have plummeted over 50% from their highs.

The downturn has affected large-cap stocks broadly across the market. Although analysts see potential for a relief rally in the near term, persistent foreign selling pressures continue to pose risks to market recovery.
