Rising water levels in Nizamsagar Project support paddy farming in Telangana

Water levels in the Nizamsagar Project have risen, providing relief to farmers engaged in paddy cultivation in the region. The improved water availability is enabling farmers to proceed with their planting and cultivation activities.
Traders are currently purchasing paddy at ₹3,000 per quintal directly from farmers at their fields. The increase in reservoir levels is expected to support agricultural output in the area.
