Noel and Neville Tata file legal caveats to shield Tata Trusts amid company dispute
Noel and Neville Tata have moved to legally shield Tata Trusts by filing multiple caveats as internal tensions at the Tata Group intensify. Noel has filed 21 caveats, while Neville, who serves as trustee of five shareholding Trusts and is named in a complaint, has filed 15 caveats.
The caveats appear designed to prevent unilateral legal actions against the Trusts during the ongoing dispute within the conglomerate. This step comes as the company row between factions within India's largest business house continues to escalate.
