Noida International Airport launches domestic cargo operations

Noida International Airport achieved another milestone on Wednesday with the successful launch of its first domestic cargo flight. An Affcom Holdings Boeing 737-800F aircraft completed a Chennai-Noida-Chennai cargo route, marking India's first commercial operation from the country's largest logistics infrastructure hub.
The aircraft transported approximately 20 tons of mixed cargo including food items, consolidated shipments, vehicle parts, and mobile devices. Airport management stated that regular cargo operations will expand from July onwards under an agreement with Affcom Holdings Limited, a Chennai-based international cargo airline currently serving Bangkok, Yangon, Hanoi, Colombo, Male, and Dubai.
The cargo service launch is viewed as a significant step in connecting Uttar Pradesh to global supply chains and promoting economic development and export growth in the state.
