Norgaard takes clubhouse lead at DP World India Championship after rain-hit Day 1

Denmark's Norgaard carded a 6-under 66 to claim the clubhouse lead at the DP World India Championship on a rain-interrupted opening day. His performance put him ahead of Chacarra and other competitors vying for the title.

Play was called off for the day due to inclement weather, with several players unable to complete their rounds. Norgaard's early advantage positions him well as the tournament continues, though numerous competitors remain on course to challenge his lead.

The championship will resume once weather conditions permit, with the field expected to complete their opening rounds on the rescheduled date.
