Odisha announces ₹1,000-crore aid for flood-affected areas

Odisha has announced ₹1,000 crore in aid for areas devastated by recent floods. Nearly 9.40 lakh people have been affected across six districts, with over 3.70 lakh evacuated to safer locations.

Chief Minister stated that additional funds will be released following a detailed assessment of the damage caused by the floods. The immediate relief package aims to address the urgent needs of affected residents.
