Odisha approves ₹76,612 crore projects; to generate over 50,000 jobs

Odisha has approved projects worth nearly ₹76,612 crore expected to create over 50,517 jobs in the state. The approvals include a major initiative by Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited to establish an ingot and wafers manufacturing unit along with a Solar PV Cell Manufacturing facility in Ganjam district, requiring an investment of ₹10,000 crore.

The projects are aimed at boosting industrial growth and employment opportunities across Odisha. The renewable energy and manufacturing focus reflects the state's push toward clean energy and value-added production sectors.
