Odisha extends timeline for ward delimitation appeals ahead of urban polls

Odisha has adjusted the timeline for its ward delimitation and seat reservation process ahead of urban local body elections. Citizens can now file appeals against the provisional notification with the Housing and Urban Development Department between October 7 and October 21, 2026. The State government will review and decide on these appeals between October 26 and October 28, 2026.
