Heavy rains affect over 73,000 in Odisha; 40,000 evacuated as rivers swell

Heavy rainfall triggered by a deep depression has impacted more than 73,000 people across 10 districts in Odisha, according to officials. Over 40,000 residents have been evacuated to safer locations as rivers rise in the affected areas.
