Odisha sees lower voter deletions than other states in latest electoral roll

Odisha's final electoral roll, published on September 21, contained 3,16,32,754 voters, up from 3,13,87,034 in the draft roll released on July 5. This represents a net addition of over 2.4 lakh voters.

The state experienced relatively fewer voter deletions compared to several other states during the electoral roll update process. Deletions typically occur due to deaths, relocations, or eligibility issues, while additions come from new registrations.
