UP Minister OP Rajbhar Claims Imminent Split in Samajwadi Party, Alleges Ram Gopal Yadav Met Amit Shah

Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief OP Rajbhar claimed Wednesday that the Samajwadi Party faces an imminent split. In a social media post, Rajbhar alleged that senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and handed over a letter, suggesting significant political developments within the opposition party. He did not provide evidence for the claim.
Rajbhar revived allegations about the mining scam and Gomti River Front project, asserting that the "mastermind" behind the controversies is well known across Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that as investigations intensify, the Samajwadi Party has grown increasingly anxious. Rajbhar further alleged that the "entire Samajwadi Party" was prepared to join the BJP.
Days earlier, SP national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav had criticised the BJP, accusing the government of misusing public funds and allegedly conducting fake police encounters. The Samajwadi Party has not publicly responded to Rajbhar's latest allegations.
