Pakistan offers limited aid to 2026 Asian Games contingent; medal winners to get compensation

The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) has announced limited financial assistance for its contingent at the 2026 Asian Games. According to POA secretary Khalid Mahmood, athletes who win medals will receive compensation.

Mahmood clarified that the Pakistan men's and women's cricket squads will be separately sponsored by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), rather than receiving support through the Olympic Association's general contingent funding.
