Panathur Railway Underbridge submerged after heavy rain, commuters wade through waterlogged crossing

The Panathur Railway Underbridge (RUB) was submerged following heavy rainfall, leaving commuters struggling to navigate through waterlogged conditions. The crossing, which serves as a vital link between Gunjur, Varthur, and the Outer Ring Road, was rendered impassable with water levels rising to hip-depth.
The underbridge is regularly used by tech workers and employees of private companies along the ORR corridor. The submersion disrupted daily commute patterns and raised concerns about drainage infrastructure in the area.
