Iyer, Farhan skip handshake at Asian Games cricket final

Shreyas Iyer and Sahibzada Farhan maintained their no-handshake practice at the coin toss for the Asian Games cricket final. The tradition has continued since the 2025 Asia Cup, reflecting ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.

India won the toss and opted to bat first in the gold-medal match. The Indian lineup remained unchanged, with young Vaibhav Sooryavanshi opening alongside Abhishek Sharma.
