India's six-medal haul at Asian Games fails to boost overall ranking as China approaches 100 golds

India secured six medals on Friday during the ongoing Asian Games. Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet won gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Gulveer Singh and the men's 50m rifle team each claimed silver medals, while bronze medals went to Manpreet Kaur, a table tennis duo, and Baranica Elangovan.

Despite the medal additions, India's overall ranking in the Games standings remained unchanged. Meanwhile, China continued its dominant performance, drawing closer to the 100-gold milestone in the medal count.
