Polish Olympic Committee Chief Removed Over Cryptocurrency Sponsorship Scandal

The Polish Olympic Committee has removed its chief following an investigation into a sponsorship agreement linked to cryptocurrency fraud. The official had signed a deal with Zondacrypto, a company that subsequently collapsed, resulting in losses estimated at up to 94 million dollars.
The scandal affected around 30,000 people, according to reports. The removal marks a significant governance crisis for Poland's Olympic body amid the broader fallout from the cryptocurrency company's failure.
