Gurindervir Singh chases medal and sub-10 dream at Asian Games 100m
Sprinter Gurindervir Singh begins his Asian Games 100m campaign with medal as the primary goal. The national record holder enters the tournament with a personal best of 10.09 seconds, achieved after progressive improvements through the season—10.39s at the Commonwealth Games and Bhubaneswar, followed by 10.32s in Delhi.
Competing against Animesh Kujur and Asia's leading sprinters at Aichi-Nagoya, Gurindervir is also eyeing a sub-10 second performance. He has trained intensely throughout the year in pursuit of both objectives.
