Pune Metro to operate non-stop for 41 hours during Ganeshotsav

Pune Metro has announced a special operating schedule to support the city's Ganeshotsav festival. The metro system will run trains non-stop for 41 hours from September 25 to 26, enabling seamless transportation for devotees attending processions and celebrations.
The extended service aims to manage increased passenger traffic during the festival period, when large crowds converge for Ganesh idol immersion and related events. Metro officials said the continuous operation will reduce congestion on city roads and provide convenient access to key venues.
This initiative is part of the state's efforts to improve public transport during major festivals and religious occasions in Maharashtra.
