Pune police impose restrictions for Ganeshotsav festival

Pune police have announced curbs and traffic diversions ahead of the Ganeshotsav festival. During the period, possession of explosives, inflammable substances, firearms, swords, knives, sticks and other objects capable of causing injury has been prohibited.

The restrictions are aimed at ensuring public safety during the celebrations of the Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
