PWD Colony Youth Group Opens Mini Gym in Kohima

The Lower PWD Youth Organisation (LPWDYO) under PWD Colony Ward 11 in Kohima inaugurated a newly constructed mini gym on Friday. Kühüpoyo Puro, former chairman of LPWD, opened the facility and spoke about the colony's unity and collective problem-solving over his 37 years of residence.

Puro emphasised the importance of maintaining physical and mental health, noting that wellness was invaluable regardless of material circumstances. He acknowledged the selfless service of the colony council and called for continued community support among residents.

Colony chairman Dziesevituo Angami described youth as the driving force of the colony, capable of implementing its plans and policies. He urged young members to uphold their responsibilities and contribute to the colony's progress.
