Rajasthan Civic Poll: Mother Votes, Dies Next Day; Son Wins by One Vote

An independent candidate in Bharatpur's Nadbai secured victory in ward 6 of the recent Rajasthan civic polls by a margin of just one vote, with a final tally of 151-150.

The outcome has drawn widespread attention in the town after it emerged that the candidate's mother had cast her vote the day before she passed away. Her single vote proved decisive in her son's narrow victory.

The result has become a talking point among residents of Nadbai, highlighting the unpredictability of closely contested local elections where even individual votes can determine the outcome.
