Rajasthan Court Orders FIR Against 95 Madhya Pradesh Police Personnel Over Flawed NDPS Raid

A Rajasthan court has ordered the registration of an FIR against two SHOs and 93 police personnel from Agar Malwa district in Madhya Pradesh over a controversial NDPS operation conducted in Jhalawar in January 2026. The Chaumahla court directed the filing after finding serious procedural violations in the raid.
The operation, conducted on January 28 in Ghata Khedi village, was challenged by Hafiz Khan, whose sons were arrested. He alleged that Agar Kotwali police conducted the raid without informing local authorities and falsely implicated his family members. An investigation by Jhalawar SP's office raised questions about the legality of the entire operation.
Court proceedings revealed multiple violations of NDPS procedures, including failure to notify local police, absence of videography during searches, lack of independent witnesses, and discrepancies between items displayed at a press conference and those documented in seizure records. The case has prompted widespread discussion about operational fairness across both states.
