Two more women die in Rajasthan after C-sections; probe ordered

Two women have died in Rajasthan following caesarean section procedures conducted at Bundi government hospital. Both patients were rushed to Kota after developing complications and died there. The operating theatre at Bundi medical facility has been sealed following the deaths.

The incident comes as Rajasthan faces a concerning maternal mortality trend. The state has recorded 19 maternal deaths in the past three months. A probe committee has been formed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the recent deaths and examine the quality of care provided at the facility.
