Rajasthan mining officials given 14-day deadline for land clearances

Rajasthan's Mines Principal Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena has directed tahsildars in all 26 districts to clear pending mining land no-objection certificates within 14 days. Officials have been instructed to use the OMEPS 2.0 portal's escalation mechanism to process applications. Any delays will automatically be forwarded to district collectors for resolution, aiming to streamline the approval process and reduce administrative bottlenecks in mining-related clearances across the state.
