BJP wins 4 of 10 municipal corporations in Rajasthan urban polls; Congress contests delimitation

The Rajasthan urban local body elections have delivered mixed results, with the BJP winning control of four out of ten municipal corporations. The Congress party secured majority in Bikaner Municipal Corporation and achieved a significant victory in the Jhalawar Municipal Council, a seat traditionally seen as a stronghold of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje.
Congress has alleged that the delimitation process was conducted unfairly, raising questions about the electoral framework used for the polls.
