Ayodhya Police File Chargesheet in Ram Mandir Donation Theft Case Against 8 Accused

Ayodhya police have filed a chargesheet against eight accused in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, citing 105 suspected theft incidents identified through CCTV footage analysis. The investigation examined CCTV recordings, witness statements and financial records to identify those allegedly involved in irregularities at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
Anukalp Mishra has been identified as the alleged key conspirator. Senior temple trust officials Champat Rai, Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao have been made government witnesses rather than accused. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and the concerned bank reportedly received a clean chit due to insufficient evidence.
The chargesheet, which includes statements from 173 witnesses, was filed as per the Supreme Court's schedule. The case now moves to competent court for examination of evidence and allegations.
