Rashmika Mandanna Recalls Vijay Deverakonda's Blunt Behaviour on Geetha Govindam Set

Actress Rashmika Mandanna opened up about her initial meeting with Vijay Deverakonda on the sets of Geetha Govindam, recalling an incident that upset her. During her first day of shooting, she was playing music on set when Vijay told her to turn it off in blunt terms, citing the shared caravan space between them.

Rashmika explained that hearing such a comment from her co-star on the first day was disconcerting, especially as she was new to the industry and initially called Vijay "sir" due to his prior experience. Vijay later acknowledged his bluntness and admitted he failed to consider how his comment might affect her, saying he assumed people would understand his intention.

Rashmika reflected that while Vijay's intention may not have been malicious, the impact of such behaviour on a newcomer was significant. Both actors have since worked together on multiple projects.
