Akhilesh Yadav alleges vote theft in 2022 UP polls, says SP will contest 2027 in alliance

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav alleged at a public meeting in Raebareli that the Election Commission facilitated vote theft during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. He contended that his party would have formed the government had irregularities not occurred.

Yadav stated the SP would contest the 2027 UP elections through an alliance, prioritizing winnability. He criticized the BJP for pursuing communal politics and pledged various reforms if his party comes to power.
